AEROSPACE FAIR MEXICO 2021

September 22-25 Queretaro
International Airport

In the last decade alone, Mexico’s aerospace industry has grown from a handful of companies to one of the country’s top exporters with a solid international presence. This growth can be attributed to Mexico’s competitive advantages and FAMEX exhibitors and visitors alike–from American to European and Asian companies—acknowledge that Mexico is an excellent platform for developing aerospace projects.

FAMEX has two main purposes. One is to provide more opportunities in the sector by promoting businesses and developing their capabilities so aircraft can be built from start to finish in Mexico, from the design, engineering and prototyping phases to certification, the manufacturing of parts and the assembly of complex systems and complete aircraft, in addition to the rendering of maintenance, repair and overhaul services (MRO), and the recycling and refurbishment of aircraft. The second is to position FAMEX not just as the leading aerospace fair in Mexico, but as a major global platform for the industry.

The September 2021 edition of FAMEX will feature the United States as our partner country, a decision I am confident will help strengthen North American global value chains in the aerospace sector.

The event is expected to draw visitors and exhibitors from over 40 countries, so we can look forward to an unprecedented exchange of ideas, technology and success stories.
